Primeiro site “.xxx” está no ar
Depois de 10 anos de discussões, o ICANN, órgão que regulamenta os domínios na internet, aprovou a criação de domínios com a terminação .xxx no último mês de março. E, desde abril, a extensão já está adicionada na lista de domínios de topo. Na prática, isso quer dizer que, desde então, usuários e empresas selecionadas já podem criar suas páginas utilizando o novo domínio.
Agora, três meses após a definição da nova regra, o domínio da Internet para adultos ganhou seu primeiro endereço online: o Casting.xxx (NSFW!).
De acordo com o jornal espanhol El País, outros 1500 endereços já foram aprovados e devem entrar no ar até o fim do ano. A partir de então, a extensão “.xxx” será aberta para todos os usuários da rede que quiserem criar sua página e identificá-la dessa forma.
Algumas medidas foram tomadas para que o conteúdo pornográfico não esteja disponível dentro de “sites familiares”. Um deles é a criação de uma busca específica para sites “.xxx”. A outra tem relação com a MacAfee, que vai rastrear os sites e garantir que nenhum deles ofereça riscos à segurança do usuário.
