Por que o ‘Facebook Home’ não está no iOS?
Nesta quinta-feira, 4, Mark Zuckerberg anunciou o ‘Facebook Home’, uma versão customizada do Android que torna a rede social o item mais importante do smartphone. A novidade foi bem recebida pelos usuários da plataforma do Google, mas gerou uma dúvida: por que o ‘Home’ não está no iOS da Apple?
O site GigaOm ficou de olho nas entrevistas concedidas pelo CEO após o anúncio do ‘Home’ e conseguiu responder parte desta questão. De acordo com a publicação, a relação entre oFacebook e a Apple não é tão próxima quanto parece, apesar das boas integrações entre o sistema operacional da maçã e o site de relacionamento.
Em uma entrevista à Fortune, Zuckerberg disse que adoraria ter o ‘Home’ no iPhone, mas “não conseguiria fazer isto atualmente”. O cofundador do site informou que irá trabalhar com a Apple para oferecer uma melhor experiência aos usuários, mas não entrou em detalhes.
O empresário ainda disse à Wired que o time de Cupertino, ou seja, a Apple, tem filosofias bem diferentes de sua equipe. Segundo ele, a fabricante do iPhone prefere lançar seus produtos perfeitos, sem futuras correções, e o Facebook precisa de espaço e tempo para testar o ‘Home’.
Apesar do Google e Facebook serem rivais na área de redes sociais, a companhia de Zuckerberg é mais parecida com a concorrente do que com a maçã.
“Nós temos um bom relacionamento com a Apple, mas eles querem desenvolver toda a experiência sozinhos. Nós e o Google temos nossas diferenças, mas estamos alinhados na filosofia de sermos abertos”, concluiu.
