A Anatel anunciou recentemente que as operadoras de telefonia móvel poderão bloquear as ligações feitas a partir de celulares piratas ou não homologados no Brasil.
A medida serve como um alerta: a partir de 2014, antes de comprar um aparelho no exterior é importante verificar se ele funcionará por aqui. O mesmo acontece para modelos de fabricantes praticamente desconhecidas.
Existem algumas maneiras de descobrir se um celular é homologado pela agência reguladora. Uma delas é buscar pelo selo da Anatel. O adesivo normalmente é fixado no manual do produto e traz um número de homologação em alguma parte do dispositivo. Mas se o aparelho for comprado fora, o ideal é buscar informações online. No site da agência é possível consultar produtos pelo nome da fabricante ou outras informações.
O site traz uma listagem que mostra quais aparelhos estão validados no país. Em alguns casos, a página apresenta o equipamento como ‘suspenso’ ou ‘cancelado’, mas isso não significa, necessariamente, que o uso dele está proibido. Esse status pode identificar que o produto deixou de ser fabricado e a homologação não foi renovada, por exemplo. Já o status ‘Indeterminado’ sinaliza que o celular está homologado, mas não há data limite de validação.
Neste link, informe o nome da fabricante e escolha o tipo de ‘Serviço/Aplicação’. Se a busca é por um celular, selecione ‘Serviço Móvel Pessoal - SMP’. Abaixo, em ‘Tipo de produto’, clique em ‘Telefone móvel celular’, então, confirme a consulta no fim da página e busque pelo aparelho.
